Ligia

The Wine Desk is Ligia de Coito. Winemakers and wine lovers in the Cape have come to know her during the 9 years she worked at the Cape Wine Academy in Stellenbosch, South Africa’s oldest and most respected wine tasting training facility. Ligia's passion for wine is over the top and contagious, and there are few who can match her enthusiasm for wine, winemaking, the Cape Winelands and everything to do with enjoying wine. Promoting wine comes naturally to her and it is no wonder that she founded the Wine Desk in 2002. The Wine Desk works only with accredited specialist wine tour guides. This means you are guaranteed a fun day out and user-friendly answers to your questions. No more boring trips staring out of bus windows. No more confusing techno-speak. You are here to enjoy yourselves and the Cape's stunning wines. That's what the Wine Desk is for.
